CDP Climate Change Report

Since 2010, Yum! Brands has participated in CDP-Climate Change. This international evaluation looks at how well companies are reducing their carbon footprint on their path to improving their long-term impact on the environment. Our participation is a strong symbol of our commitment to transparency and the environment. In 2015, we received a disclosure score of 92 and performance grade of D placing us near the mid-performance band in our business sector. Forbes’ Top 10 Chief Human Resources Officers

Yum! Brands former Chief People Officer Anne Byerlein was named one of Forbes’ Top 10 Chief Human Resources Officers (CHRO) in 2015. Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index

Yum! Brands once again received a Green rating on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2016 Corporate Equality Index, the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees. Read the full report here.

Newsweek Green Rankings

Yum! improved its standing in the 2015 Newsweek Green Rankings, which ranks the world’s largest companies, globally and in the U.S., on corporate sustainability and environmental impact. Our position on the U.S. and global indexes rose to 238 and 332 respectively. We will continue to strive to make meaningful change that we expect to reflect positively in our future ranking. CSR Award By The World Franchise Congress 2015

Yum! Brands India was recognized for their CSR interventions by World Franchisee Congress 2015. The World Franchise Congress 2015 recognized and felicitated achievers, innovators, smartest futurists and franchise leaders from all over the world, who have contributed significantly towards the development of current and franchise future trends in business, government, technology and society.

China Corporate Charity Work Awards

At the 2015 Annual China Corporate Charity Work Awards, Yum! China was given the Most Influential Contribution Award in the CSR Field for its outstanding contributions to poverty relief in China through the “Donate One Yuan” program for eight years, which is part of the Yum! Brands World Hunger Relief program.
