We are proud of the progress we have made and continue making in growing our supplier diversity efforts in the U.S. We work closely with Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC (RSCS) towards our goal of increasing spend with diverse businesses. Additionally, we ask current suppliers to join in our efforts by also investing in diverse suppliers.

We continue to align with diversity leaders such as the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the National Urban League, the U.S. Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce and others to provide strategic access to diverse suppliers and entrepreneurs who are exploring business opportunities.

Recognizing Supplier Diversity Excellence

In 2015, we presented our inaugural Supplier Diversity Award to The BAMA Companies, Inc. (BAMA) at our annual supply chain awards. We established the Supplier Diversity Award to recognize suppliers that demonstrate significant leadership in the area of diversity and inclusion. For more than 20 years, BAMA, a woman-owned business enterprise, has been a leading and valued supplier of quality baked goods to KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. They demonstrate a strong commitment to driving diversity and inclusion efforts in their organization.

“We believe it’s critical to reflect the community’s diversity in all that we do, including our supply chain. I’m pleased to recognize BAMA with our first Supplier Diversity Award for their outstanding contributions to our business, and for demonstrating that diversity and inclusion is a business imperative. ”

We’re focused on bringing diverse suppliers into our business so we can create the dynamic and rich environments that best reflect the diversity of our consumers, employees and communities. Learn more about our supplier diversity program.
